WELCOME TO THE 2M CENTER
The 2M Center,
operating in Washington DC's southeast communities, specifically addresses
"digital divide" issues and technology access for underserved residents
East of the River (Wards 7 and 8) through creative
youth programming, technology advocacy
and training. The 2M Center was created
in honor of slain community and civil rights activists Malcolm X and Martin
Luther King, Jr., and is also known as the Malcolm-Martin Center.
The 2M Center is a technology and cultural center whose aim is to educate and strengthen neighborhoods through technology with a focus on youth and families. The Center focuses on initiatives and programs that are innovative, educational, pioneering and self-sustaining, using current and new technologies.
